Day 1 sketch - Done! I actually completed my first sketch this morning. It's pretty bad, but that's not the point. The point is I did it, and with practice I should eventually get back to having a better grip on perspective, angles, shapes, etc. As it is, this morning's sketch of my coffee cup is all "wonky" on the bottom of the cup. And, yes, I realize that "wonky" is probably not a word, but it certainly fits the way I drew the cup.
The instructions are to commit to the line you draw. That makes it hard for me because when I draw something that is so off, I want to fix it. Still, I'm somehow satisfied and feel accomplished. I included a crazy funny quote by Bach: "Bring me a bowl of coffee before I turn into a goat!" Gotta love that!
