Weight Loss & Exercise

Dave and I went to the mall yesterday on the great eyeglass quest. (BTW, there's nothing quite like having someone ask you to go help choose their new frames and then hearing all the reasons why the frames you choose look terrible.) While simply walking from one store to the next I got winded and remarked yet again that I needed to start exercising. The videos of the praise aerobics and the poodle exercises I posted are great, but I guess I need to start a bit more slowly. Not wanting to over-do it I found a couple of great ideas on the web.

Here are some tips from SparkPeople on dressing for weight loss success:
  • Thin wrists? Wear some bracelets or bangles to show them off.
  • Great legs? Wear miniskirts at least twice a week.
  • High collar bones? Get yourself some scoop neck tops.
Yep! I'm off to buy some great new bracelets today so people will immediately notice how slim I'm getting. How come I never thought of this one; it's so obvious!!

But, because I know I need to actually exercise, I thought this would be a great place to start. Now, it starts out slowly, but give the video until at least the 1 minute mark and please do wait to see her actually demonstrate the exercise including the breathing. Baby, this is my kind of exercise!!
