I spent part of the weekend scanning old pictures found at my parent's home. Take a gander at this very dark haired girl. I was 13 years old and I'm going to blame the hair color on this being an ancient Polaroid shot because I don't think my hair has ever been that dark. Except maybe the time I had it colored to get rid of a too light hair coloring job. Even then my memory of that is an old woman at church looking at me and stating "Your hair looks terrible." She said this in front of maybe 8 or 10 other people, one of whom was the DOM. He stepped up and asked why in the world she'd say something like that. She said, "I'm just stating my opinion." She's still alive,
bless her heart.
I think seeing all those old photos have made me realize that we need to be taking more ourselves. The pictures we have now are those spur of the moment ones taken mostly with my cell phone. We do have about 8 rolls of old film sitting in a drawer that David swears he's going to get developed one day.
Oh, and the puppy in the photo is no longer with us. If she was she'd be at least 287 years old (in dog years).
