I'm old. Well, maybe not as old as some people you know, but still, when it comes to hip hop I'm 99.9% of the time on the "sing already!" side of it. (I've always heard that Porter Wagoner was the first true rapper, but...let's not go there.) Again, since it's 3 in the morning, I'm up browsing the web. Take a look at this site. I'll go straight out and say I can't listen to the music (I need someone to actually sing a melody and not speak it - sorry, but years of listening to Lennon/McCartney has done that to me) but the messages in the devotionals are spot on.
