David always knew had was playing with gold!

Whenever David speaks of his childhood and playing it always involves either throwing china berries or dirt clods. The boys have always teased him about his having the neatest toys. There were no Star Wars or Lego toys for him. Nope, their dad got to play with sticks and dirt! Woot!

Well, today, the lowly stick has been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
Curators at the Rochester museum say the stick is a special addition. They praised its all-purpose, all-natural, no-cost qualities and its ability to serve either as raw material or an appendage transformed by imaginations into something else.
