Officials have issued guidelines that libraries should keep all holy books, including the Bible, on the top shelves. This is in response to Muslims who have complained that the Koran should be kept on a top shelf above all commonplace books. The Bible was added, along with all other "holy" books, in hopes of appeasing people of all faiths.
Funny thing is, this is happening in Great Britain where the Christians there are saying the Bible needs to be in easy reach to all people. It's quite an interesting read. Go here for the full article.
