Talked with my mom earlier today and she sounded really good. My brother & sister-in-law were there with her. Thedoctor had put her on a low dose slow release morphine for a couple of days which worried me. Her bedsore was causing her pain and I guess the tylenol wasn't enough. I was happy to hear they'd chosen not to continue with that today.

Her sister and cousin are planning a visit next week and that be so good for her. My aunt even talked about making some chicken and dumplings for her. You can ask anyone in our family and they'll tell you that my grandmother made the absolute best chicken and dumplings EVER. Aunt Peggy said her recipe was really good but I can guarantee you that Grandmama will come up somewhere in the conversation.
