I just called to check on my mother. She hasn't slept in nearly 24 hours and her words are slurred. She's coherent when you ask a question, but is almost hallucinating - seeing things on the ceiling, etc. My dad asked me three different times if I knew something he didn't know. I told him "no" but then again, I know the signs while he doesn't.
Her sister was there and I talked with her. She said that my sister-in-law asked Mama what she wanted for her birthday (Monday, the 9th) and Mama thought and then said, "I want a bottle of champagne!" I don't think I've ever seen my mom drink champagne, but I love the enthusiasm behind the request.
We'll be going up Thursday right after I get finished teaching. Please continue to pray.

Thank you so much. I was asked today how she was doing and then how I was doing. I could answer the question on her, but for me - a person only has one mother and so I don't know - I'm in-between incredibly distressed and yet understanding that she knows Who her Savior is and so...well, it's just hard. Please continue praying.
