America's 200 Largest Charities

When David and I moved to sponsor a child I did all sorts of research, trying to make sure that the charity we would be sponsoring through had a good reputation. So, I read this article from Forbes this morning with great interest.

Even more interesting, though, was the on site poll asking what you feel is the best reason for giving to a charity. Talk about honesty!

What's the best reason to give to charity?

Great benefit dinners (0 %)
28 Vote(s)
Tax deductions (3 %)
33 Vote(s)
Religious requirements (4 %)
350 Vote(s)

4 Vote(s)

13 Vote(s)
Being rich enough to afford to (1 %)
2 Vote(s)

yeah I would go with the 'cause I believe in'.

It's wonderful you're sponsoring a child.

May God bring blessings to you.
