They say nothing in the world is new and music must fit into that saying. I remember David saying that Porter Wagoner was the actual first rapper, followed closely by Dolly Parton, of course. This video is long by my short attention span standards, but the first 30 seconds or so will show that I believe this to be the first form of beatboxing!
