Henley update

The vet called this morning. Henley's temp is down 103 and they still have him on IVs. He's still so weak that he can't stand up yet. They are going to give him another round of antibiotics and see how he does during the day. I think it's a "not out of the woods yet" situation, but he's better than yesterday. Please keep him in your prayers. It's just heartbreaking. I worry about our not being there because Sean says Henley grieves for us when we're gone for a few days at a time, not eating and just being pitiful. David keeps reassuring me that Hen is too sick to notice we're not there right now. I so pray the second rounds of antibiotics take care of whatever infection he has.

This pic is of him laying on my lap in the hall yesterday before they took him to the vet. He was so, so sick he couldn't move. He'd be able to sit up and then just collapse back down. Sean came home from work early and checked on him. I went to teach about 30 minutes after that and called. It took both David & Sean to carry him out to the Element. He's such a big boy.
