I had a long conversation with Daddy tonight. He talked of friends from Bethesda and doctor's appointments. He talked of my brother Mike coming over to plant a row of squash and okra in his garden and how happy that made him. He asked about Sean and Henley. He talked with David about some music recording he wanted.
But, most of all, he talked about Mama. There's a lot of "remember when..." in our conversations because she is what we have in common. He seems to be doing a bit better, but we always come to that one point of how much we miss her and how lost we feel at times - like the rest of the world shouldn't be going on because she isn't here.
