Piano Show!

So, the piano recital for my students is tomorrow. I chose to hold it at a local nursing home with the kids all playing (and some singing!!) music from the 30s & 40s for the residents. They've worked hard and I'm so proud of each of them.

We went by the nursing home this afternoon to take a look at the room so we'd have the sound system set up properly. The activities director was busy with a group of youth who want to adopt a grandparent. I'm happy to say that group of youth happened to be New Hope kids! As she finished up talking with them, I wandered out to the hallway and took a look at their bulletin board. I've heard piano recitals called a lot of things, but never this:

"Wilson Piano Show"

I guess that goes right along with all the Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland music! I went back in the room and got Bethany & Ian to come out and see it. They loved it!
