Talked with Daddy tonight. His stuttering is driving him nuts. Daddy has always been one to speak, teach, train, and elaborate on any subject. For him to not be able to get his words out is so very frustrating. He's had a CT scan and the speech therapist told him today that it is definitely stress related. He told me that and sobbed, talking about life without Mama. It's not where he wants to be in life.
He goes next week to have his battery replaced in his defibrillator. I've done lots of reading about it and it all says that it's routine. Routine until it is your father. It is usually done on an out-patient basis but Daddy is 82 yrs old, so it will probably be overnight for him. Please remember to pray for him on the 15th.
