Dog Daze

Henley, the day we rescued him 12 weeks old

Had a really nice afternoon today at FWB Landing's Dog Daze. I guess David, Sean, and I must have pet 50 dogs of all breeds. None of them "fit" us and that was disappointing. We got to see several Great Danes and spent time talking to some Mastiff owners. The heads on those dogs were HUGE. The Giant Schnauzer is much smaller than a Dane (that's one of the things we're trying to do - go smaller), but the personality wasn't there. Sean wants a Retriever, but I'm not nuts about the longer hair. I'd still love an Airedale, but we really want to rescue. I've not been able to locate on yet. I know we can't have Henley back, but he had some big paws to fill.
