David and I are famous for not seeing situation comedies until they're in the re-run stage. I never knew how awesome Ray Ramono was nor how funny the cast of Reba was until they'd been off the air for at least a couple of years. A more recent favorite has been George Lopez.

Today I read that he is being accused of messing around on his wife of 17 years. It included all the usual trashy stuff that goes along with Tiger Woods and Jesse James. I was disappointed but jaded to the point of it being famous men with money - it's what so many of them do...until I read this:

"His (Lopez) wife saved his life several years ago by donating a kidney when a genetic condition caused his to deteriorate." via
