I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love
will have the final word in reality.
This is why right, temporarily defeated,
is stronger than evil triumphant.

In the year of 2010 I've experienced 2 examples of excruciating hurt. Both instances came from out of the blue, so very unexpected.
I know we're supposed to grow from times like these and I have. But, I'll never forget the heartache. I'll never forget the pain.
I've looked at both sides and still feel that I've honored the Lord in each of the two times...and that is what matters. Having said that, I've still offered up messages of "let's make this right" and have received nothing in return.
The bitterness is palpable. On one front there is asperity. On the other front there is what is supposed to be perceived as holiness. On both fronts, for me, there is heartache. I can only do what I can do. That's why this quote meant so much to me. Sometimes we just have to let go and live.
My heart is still heavy. And I yearn for the "final word."
