I don't know that life has ever been as busy as it is right now. I've not had time to check my Google Reader (and I do love my Google Reader) and have emails from early morning that need to be answered.
I did pick up my first order of organic fruits and veggies this morning, thanks to Missy letting me in on a very cool local group. I now have organic avocados to make my favorite guacamole with, fresh organic peaches, cherries, green beans, and blueberries. Oh - and the tomatoes look like those from my Daddy's garden. Awesomeness!
Been up since 6:45 and started working on recital music for my students. The finalizing is the hardest part, making sure that each student has pieces that are both true to the original sounding plus playable by each one. This week should have everyone in order.
Now, we're off to get the much needed updated cell phones. With all that has happened in the last months we've not had time nor finances. Trips back and forth to GA so often really placed a strain there, but after much research on David's part, we'll be taking care of that tonight. My only requirements for the phone are it has to have a qwerty and a better camera. I thank God for the cell phone I have because without it I wouldn't have half the incredibly sweet and tender pictures of Mama during her last months. We could have a camera with us, but there's something so easy about taking out your cell for picture taking that made it priceless in this case. I don't know that I would have half the pictures if I had to use a regular camera.
It's about 212 degrees in the shade here and I'm happy because I'm in Florida and it's not cold. Oppressive heat is better for me than extreme cold (which would be anything below 60 degrees for me).
Hope to post my usual stuff tonight, if time allows. The picture is just something to make you think about my usual stuff - a little quirky and yet somehow compelling - jk!
