I don't get this world of so much legislation whether governmental or in privately held institutions. My advice to the physicians is to do what I do with my piano students. I take just a moment before I begin each lesson and have a short prayer with them simply asking the Lord to bless the child with His peace, grace, and mercy and thanking Him for the love He has for them. Of course, I asked the parents before the first lesson if they mind if I pray with their child. I've never had a parent refuse, but here's the thing. Even if the parent said no, that wouldn't stop me from praying silently for the child...and the parents. Prayer is our most precious and powerful resource and there's nothing that demands it to be done aloud. God doesn't need legislation in order to hear and answer our prayers we lift up to Him.
