We used to live in Eugene, OR (about 10 yrs ago now) & and I vaguely remember this guy being a newscaster there! When we lived there the news did a documentary of sorts on fathers involvement in the birth process & my doctor asked if we'd mind if they filmed during my daughter's birth (14 yrs ago) - as I recall the news team had just missed a previous birth they were originally supposed to attend. We said yes & so they did - &, long story short, I think Rick Dancer may have been one of the news anchors on set when that story was aired. Anyhow - just fun/funny to see his familiar face via your blog of all places :) Small world!
I poked around his blog a bit & liked what I saw there. Have decided to follow along :)
Dave has a pastor/friend in Florence, OR who initially posted this on facebook. I'm going to pass along what you posted. He apparently knows Rick Dancer personally.
That's fine. Rick Dancer spent quite a bit of time "in our our family room" (via the TV/News :) Seemed like a really nice guy. I gather he's a an avid cyclist so I passed his blog address on to my son too.
