Moving Day Blues

Sean is upstairs playing the perfect music for the moving day blues!  I am overwhelmed.  You know what it's like when you have so much to do that you get flustered and can't do anything...well, I'm just about there.  So, I take it in small bits.  I pack a box here and there.  I take down pictures (my favorite print that was once over the fireplace of red dogs with green apples on their heads in now in a box) and pack away pottery.  The majority of the boxes have books in them.  I was talking to my mom tonight and she actually suggested we give them all away or sell them.  What???  That ain't happening.  I'd lose my collection of children's books and David would lose his Twain collection.   I learned today that carpet people are coming by Friday to measure to replace horrid gray sculptured carpet that we've lived with for the last 7 years and painters later that same day to give an estimate on painting the interior.  Then, Monday the realtor is coming.  As you can see from the picture it's not going to be pretty!  My thoughts:  too bad!  We're in the middle of moving.  What do they expect?
