It's been quite a while since I updated. The move...well, I'm through talking about it, thinking about it, even remembering anything about it! The garage still has stuff in it but I'm finding with the door closed I barely notice it at all. LOL!
Allan dropped by just a bit ago. When he visits us one person has to stay with Henley because Allan and Henley don't quite get along. Allan can be animated at times and Henley is all about chasing hands/arms that reach skyward. A big black Great Dane jumping at Allan's hands isn't a good thing.
Today, I went to the door while David kept Henley. Allan had his patriotic t-shirt on and was taken with the two American flags I had on either side of the front walkway. He said, "You have two flags and I don't have any." So, of course I gave him one. He promptly had me recite the Pledge of Allegiance with him. I can't think of a better way to celebrate.
