IF my Italian is correct (and that would mean that Babel Fish was right), then these are a couple of invitations I made up today for an intimate get-together with a few girl friends the 15th of May. Hopefully "venuto e gusto" means "come and taste." I'm still not comfortable with watercolors but am trying to loosen up. I seem to do my best artwork when I'm not trying too hard. I did a quick sketch in pencil, then did a wet-in-wet watercolor technique. From there I took a black ink marker and outlined for emphasis. I'm fairly pleased! Here's the results:
