Very soon now, I'll be posting our bedroom re-do. It's just a lovely calm and serene take on a photo I saw in Southern Living Magazine nearly a year ago. I have a very talented friend, Pam Roberts, owner of Torn Veil Interiors, who took the photo and did a FABULOUS job for me. I bartered with her (she did my bedroom and I taught her lovely daughter Jamie Neal piano) so I have something I'd never have been able to afford normally. It's a lovely serene room. I've now begun hanging artwork on the walls. The big deal about this is that for the most part, it's my very own artwork...and I'm psyched about it!!! I'm waiting until a trio of impressionist ink/heat pieces come back from being framed before I post the whole before/after of the room. But, for now, here's two of my works (plus a very uber cool print of Frida with a blue cat we bought while in Savannah last summer).

A nude I did in watercolors in a "floating" frame.

The "Pool of Siloam" which is a mixed-media piece I did above the very cool Frida by James Dean (not
that James Dean!)
