Henley seems much better, wanting to stand up alone and yet still not able to. David and Sean tried to take him outside earlier, but found they needed a third person. I'm not ready to be that third person because I'm afraid I'll hurt him. He'd stood already twice today so I asked David if he couldn't wait and let's try him tomorrow. I promised I'd help. ugh...if Hen yelps at all I will freak.
He just finished up his homemade chicken & rice dinner. Hopefully, he'll sleep well tonight and be ready to try and stand in the morning.
The one thing we know - Henley was by no means ready to be put down. Having a Great Dane sometimes means being ready to listen to the dog and not the vet. David & Sean both knew immediately that Henley wanted to be home in order to get better. He's an awesome dog and we all love him so much.
