Call the whammmbulance! It's time for me to whine a bit. Today went fine - church good, lunch yummy, and then we took Mick & Stevie for a walk. Did anyone ever tell you how strong an Airedale is? Good night, I think they're all muscle. These two dogs, who we were told were socialized, do great with people. Other animals, not so much! A gentle lab came out to greet (why was he not on a leash???) and our two pups went berserk!
Got back home and David decided to go to the youth worship. I wasn't sure whether it would be a good thing or not to attend since I'm quite far from being a youth so I stayed home. The house was quiet, so I took the time to call Daddy. We talked for about 40 minutes when my phone call was cut short by a media message from David. I had to text Dave back and tell him not to send anymore while I was talking with Daddy. Called Daddy back and then the land line rang. Daddy held on while I took the other call (could have been a ministry call - had to make sure). Juggling two calls with both people talking is challenging. Daddy and I started crying together about missing Mama so much. After another 40 minutes we said goodbye and then I let the pups out. They headed straight way to the fence to bark LOUDLY at the two yappers next door. Airedales have huge barks - I mean as loud if not louder than Henley's was. The woman came out and yelled at me...I think it was at me, but with all the barking & yapping it could have been a call for fire from heaven for all I really know. Neither Mick nor Stevie will come when called yet. Drives me nuts. You can't catch them because they're fast as all get out. I finally get them inside by taking the plastic bag with their training treats outside and crinkling it. They stopped immediately and ran inside. egad!
whine...it's all fine now...or it will be.
