Mama

One of my online friends, Lisa Bebi, is an extremely talented and gifted artist. I follow her blog and we've "talked" on Facebook in the wee hours of the morning (wee hours for me - she's on the west coast). I love her attitude toward life which shows through her artwork. Plus, she loves dogs - that alone means she's a good person!

This morning on Facebook she posted a lament for Pina Bausch, a choreographer/dance theater director. Bausch died of cancer. Here's the quote Lisa used:
The deep pain that is felt at the death of every friendly soul arises from the feeling that there is in every individual something which is inexpressible, peculiar to him alone, and is, therefore, absolutely and irretrievably lost. (Arthur Schopenhauer)
That's exactly how I feel about losing Mama. Every person she ever met was touched by her kindness and beauty. I so look forward to seeing her again one day.

Oh Bunny, This touched me so much! It is so true that your Mama was the most precious woman, friend, Christian, Southern Belle and compassionate woman God ever put in my life. I love you because this was passed to you and you are the image of your mama. I love you Bunny and how I hurt just knowing I can't go see her if I could get there. love, Debbie
